Dwarves. Those feisty, beer-loving, elf-hating, barely five-foot-tall, bearded humanoids. Proud, though egotistical, honorable, yet unforgiving, and incredibly strong, but tenderhearted; none were braver, kinder, or more stubborn than those clever, spirited, industrious people known as dwarves.
This is the story of an extraordinary dwarf who lived many, many years ago, in a land now lost and forgotten in time. His name was Thorgrim Longbeard.
Although Thorgrim gained instant fame when he was born with a beard, he was also claustrophobic, afraid of spooks and the dark. Serious problems for a dwarf who was expected to work in, what he believed was, a haunted silver mine.
This is volume one of four in a series about the life of Thorgrim Longbeard. A prequel (more or less) to the novel 'The Greatest Treasure in the World, ' 'The Legend of Thorgrim Longbeard' can be enjoyed by itself or as a companion to the original story.
