Aprašymas

Tom and Lydia Winston are the parents of an autistic son named Charlie who lives in his own world because of his special condition. Because of his introvert personality his mother Lydia has been constantly trying to communicate with her son to find his intimate personal feelings and desires but to no avail. Charlie, now a young child soon to become a teenager has been an introvert child all of his life, a common trait on children with autism. That is, until one night after coming back from a visit with his doctor, when Lydia experiences a unique and unusual feeling while talking to his son in his room. Lydia is dumbfounded by this episode and tells her husband Tom who is a new FBI agent in training at the FBI Academy. Tom comforts Lydia assuming it is just a stress problem telling her to go see their family physician. Lydia brushes off what happens and tells her husband not to worry and to concentrate on his FBI Academy training. After all, that has been Tom's dream and Lydia has decided to sacrifice her career and become a full time mom so her husband can pursue his for now. But the unusual episodes with her son Charlie start to become more frequent prompting Lydia to question if the strange episodes are more than a health problem. After the unusual episodes with Charlie happen for a third time Lydia and Tom reluctantly decide to take their son to a prominent psychologist. While at her office they are surprised to learn the possible reasons for Lydia's unusual and strange behavior while she is with her son Charlie. To their disbelief they find out from the psychologist that these strange episodes are more than coincidence and that they now tie mother and son more than ever before. Only one question lingers on both Lydia and Tom's minds. Will this be a godsend or a curse for them and their autistic son? Meanwhile at the FBI Academy Tom is assigned to the FBI Intelligence Directorate department. Here, he meets his close friend and also special agent trainee Darren. While early on their training phase they are both selected and briefed on a classified operation by their lead trainer. Reluctantly they both accept the mission and embark on a journey that will eventually collide with Tom's own family, his values as a Special FBI Agent, and question his own government and agency.
