Nepomuk's initial companion is Humphrey, or perhaps George, or even John—a name shrouded in uncertainty. Following him is Enya, whose passing aligns with the anticipated after a tumultuous existence. Danillo, despite his youth, is the first to wholeheartedly embrace the potential of death, yet he grapples with the absence of both his life and loved ones. Geogina, steadfast and structured even in the afterlife, carries the weight of her disciplined existence, despite finding solace in the cessation of her long journey. Lastly, Mireille, tasked with recording her life's narrative to transcend, embarks on a path to closure. Certainly, we can't omit Cleopatra and Homer—yes, the very same figures—whose paths intersect with Nepomuk's as he journeys toward paradise and beyond.
