For the lucky few, the latest, must-have entertainment is to escape to a fantasy world. Without the need to wear a virtual reality headset this new technology employs state of the art holographic projections and robotic extras to create true to life imagery and complete immersion within a world governed only by the limit of imagination. In charge of creating this make-believe world is Ted Langton, head of production for the Hologram Dreams Corporation. Blessed with an incredibly inventive mind, the world's fastest supercomputer, and an army of humanoid androids at his disposal, he recreates the impossible on an epic scale.
The perfect job and an ideal life, but out of the blue an unexpected long-distance telephone call sees Ted's world turn suddenly upside down.
The caller claims to have evidence of corruption, kidnap, and murder, leading directly to the door of his beloved company. Ted has no idea if any of this is true or is just an elaborate hoax, but such a serious accusation cannot be ignored.
Reporting to the authorities would risk his reputation and that of the entire organisation, so in search of answers he begins his own investigation. Before long Ted is in way over his head and with things spiralling rapidly out of control his discoveries lay bare the disturbing and seedy underbelly of the criminal world.
