Albert Frederick Pollard (1869-1948) was a British historian who specialized in the Tudor period. Pollard studied and wrote about the history of the Tudors from a political viewpoint. He published 500 articles in the Dictionary of National Biography, and many other books and papers concerning history. Some of his works are: Henry VIII (1905); The History of England: A Study in Political Evolution (1912); and A Short History of the Great War (1920).
