He sails the east coast of Florida during some the most turbulent times, he aids a young nation during the political unrest of 1812. Through love, political intrigue and adventures at sea, Jose Gaspar becomes, "the Last of the Buccaneers." Steve Barber, is a local pastor born and raised in Tampa, Florida. His family has resided there for four generations. He is married to his wife of 33 years, Sheri. Their 4 children, Joshua, Heather and her husband Ben, Daniel and Alaina all live in Tampa also. They have one granddaughter, the apple of their eye, Gabby.
