Duncan knows he can't quit his first big assignment, but his new life away from all the hustle and bustle of the big city is pushing back at him just as hard as he pushes forward, and Peanut only seems to get in the way. But as soon as Duncan gets a foothold in his new life and begins writing exceptional diaries of his observations of country life, his editor calls off the entire assignment. What will happen as Duncan faces his final days in what has become his new hometown? And what will happen to Peanut if Duncan decides he no longer needs him?
