Love for the Future: Building One World of Freedom and Democracy Under God's Truth is a book mainly based on three lectures given by Ryuho Okawa in English. Through simple words, this book teaches us, who live in this modern age and struggle with conflicting values, that true freedom and democracy are vital principles for all countries around the world to come together and strive peacefully for a prosperous future. This is because these principles are based on a belief in God's love for everyone and that all people have divine nature within. Chapter 1 of Part 1 was compiled from the transcription of Okawa's lecture and Q&A session in Germany, held in 2018. The time is now here for everyone to set themselves free from remorseful memories of 20th-century totalitarianism, as represented by the acts of the German Nazis, and, at the same time, we must stop the present-day totalitarian-communist superpower from continuing to violate human rights and further spreading hegemonism throughout the world. This is a crucial aspect of preventing World War III from occurring. In answer to the global problems we now face, Okawa discusses what God seeks us to accomplish in the 21st century from a historical and political standpoint, and ultimately from a religious perspective. Chapter 2 is Okawa's Hong Kong lecture and Q&A session. This lecture from 2011 became a historical event in which Okawa encouraged the 1.4 billion people of China to strive for freedom-based prosperity and the people of Hong Kong to become the leaders of this crucial movement. The basic ideas which Okawa discusses in this lecture were the grounds on which the people of Hong Kong led their democratization movement, the Umbrella Revolution, that occurred several years later. Chapter 3 is from Okawa's lecture in Japan, which he held especially for the people of Thailand, a country that is based in traditional Buddhist teachings and trailing behind in its democratization. In this chapter, he discusses based on the right Buddhist philosophy that the belief that we, humans, possess divine nature within and are souls dwelling in physical bodies, is the basis of Western ideas on freedom, leadership, and democracy and that this belief is the answer to bringing Eastern and Western ideas together. Part 2 reveals the national and global strategies of four key world leaders: Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin, Angela Merkel, and Donald Trump. By accessing their hidden consciousnesses by using the most advanced spiritual powers in the world, Okawa let them speak their true thoughts. What they revealed honestly about their ideas are supplemental material and evidence to show why it is so vital that Okawa's ideas in Part 1 are understood and accepted as soon as possible by everyone who live in this modern world.
