Aprašymas

A pioneering work of gothic horror from a forgotten female author, Zofloya is an immersive and heart-rending tale of murder and Satanism in medieval Italy.

Victoria is the beautiful daughter of a rich Venetian family, whose peace is shattered by the arrival in the palazzo of Count Ardolph, a villainous visitor with designs upon the virtue of Victoria's friend Laurina. Victoria falls under the spell of both Ardolph and Laurina, whose influence drives her to put her own happiness and sexual fulfilment above morality.

Then Victoria meets the mysterious servant Zofloya, and her fascination quickly turns to something altogether darker.
