Norman is living off the plaudits from his best-selling Writer's Guidebook and wondering what to do next when his mind is made up for him by fellow writers unable to get off first base.While researching the dreaded condition known as writer's block, he discovers a whole dynasty of writers, stretching back through the ages, who suffered from the same complaint.Prevented from making his findings public, he learns he's suffering from the same condition and turns in desperation to a therapy group for similarly afflicted writers.
