It seeks to establish a standing position and possible recommendations. In the end, what is necessary is that there is a balance between the competing need to ensure reputation is safeguarded and the overriding objective to ensure that the right to freedom of expression is protected. This book seeks to address and highlight the situation in Kenya making reference to the pre- and postcolonial period.
