the poetry "withering the velvet cloud" forms a picture about feelings that arise and excist in the getting to know each other, the in between, the not there not quite. the danger of letting this velvety cloud simply wither due to fear, pain and resistance. it is a homage to honest love in all its facets and should lead us to ignite what we are too often willing to avoid, passion.
