As we embark together on this voyage of self-discovery, self-preservation, and self-asylum administered from my encounter with a true psychopath, let my account be that of a cautionary tale. Even better, an ode to abuse inflicted upon a true hearted bloke - aka, a "nice guy."

I invite you to turn the pages of my book, much in the same manner that I have been forced to turn the pages on the idealization of losing what I thought was my truest love and my soulmate.

Many of you will simply be consumed with the fascination, the romance, the poetic irony, the mystery, and the drama. A lot of you will find validation in the pages to follow. Most of you will feel emotions you have never felt before. But...I promise...ALL of you will gain an understanding of the purgatory from the isolation, the deceit, the agenda, and the abuse from the rampant lies that one person can install upon another all in the name of "Love."
