Millions of tourists from all over the world visit San Antonio each and every year. They go to the same places, snap the same photographs, and buy the same souvenirs. Then they leave without really seeing the city. They miss the fine points, and fail to notice the things the locals see each and every day of their lives. With this book we issue you a challenge. We provide a series of photos, each one taken within a mile of the Alamo's front doors. And we challenge you to find the spot where our photographer stood to take the shot, and to duplicate it yourself. By performing such a mission you'll tramp the usual places along the streets and Riverwalk of downtown San Antonio. But you'll also see so much more.
