Most of us question certain aspects of life. What is my purpose? Why was I born? Why has God forsaken me? These questions may last a lifetime but usually for only the time that the question is presenting itself. A Quest is most often a much longer endeavor. The original question of "whence" may initiate the process but other quests present along the way? For me some questions (and/or quests) have been life-long . Is it better to be just or merciful? How does one love God? What is faith? Quests do not have to be religious. They might include cures for a certain disease, reducing smog in cities, reducing wastefulness in cities. Whatever the quest, the questor seeks answers both for "whither", where does one start. And perhaps last of all "why". Why did I spend my life searching for whatever, wherever the quest led us. Sometimes one quest leads to another . The person who is a questor often remains so. With just a different quest. This book tries to paint in words the basic quests that I have embarked upon. I wish I could give you answers but not so, only a description of the quest and its effects.
