Feel your vote doesn't count? Well in a Democracy -- hold on! Democracy? It is easy to define a Democracy -- "majority rule." That means 49% of the people are left out. That means you. We instinctively know that is not right and we even see in the US Constitution (Article VI) that our government is supposed to be a Republic. So what is a Republic? Often it is defined as "sort of like a democracy but with representatives." Or "a government ruled by Law," or ... Correct ... sort of. Suppose I tell you I am going to describe a house. I tell you about the front door (the representatives). I tell you about the wonderful back yard (the Law). I have described a few parts of the house, but not THE HOUSE. You want to buy it? I didn't think so. You'll stick with your little hut Democracy, but at least you know what it is. REPUBLIC is not concisely defined. You cannot walk through the rooms of the house, knock on the walls, how well-constructed is this house? We will NEVER regain the republic until the word REPUBLIC is fully defined. That is what this little book does. At the end of it you will know what a republic is.
