Welcome to the Half Orphan Club. My brothers and I became members on February 28th, 1992. That fateful Friday afternoon was the day the world lost a little of its color and left a little darkness in all of us. We never even saw it coming. Over the years, People have often told me that I needed to write a book about the impact the loss of my father has had on me and my life. So, after nearly twenty years, I finally did. In a time where there isn't much comfort, I hope you will find some sense of support as I take you on my journey. Perhaps yours will turn out to be a lot like mine was, perhaps it won't. Regardless, I want you to know, these waters are not uncharted. Many have come before you, many more will come after you.
