This Revised Edition of a classic work, "WEAPONS KUMITE" by Soke Tak Kubota, is intended to help student to improve the competitive skills as well as advancing their knowledge in Bokken, Tonfa, Shinai, Sai, Baton and Cane. The techniques included in this book are Kubojutsu although they may, at times, resemble Kendo. Master Kubota has modified and developed these techniques for efficiency in realistic situations and tournaments. His experience of more than 50 years of training qualifies him as one of the top experts in the field. Master Kubota hopes that weapons tournament will be one day part of the usual martial arts competitions around the world.
