It focuses on Jesus' journey through the countryside and his attention to outsiders like the Roman Centurion and Zaccheus. Some of the stories are put into a modern context, with attention to the metaphorical meanings they may convey. It might provide some sermon material, or be used for devotional reading. Nearly all the stories and teachings in Luke are covered. The poems are meant to be thought-provoking and challenging.
