Writing poems in a series of sessions led by Poetry Workshop Creator Sylvie Middleton and organized by jennifer lyn amon, Director of the Homes with Hope HEAL Program, enabled the students to let go of preconceived beliefs and ways of thinking and opened up a safe, creative space for them to express themselves.
