His orders are simple. Guard the magical Stone of GraVinn, befriend the human girl who unknowingly possesses it, and allow nothing to distract from his charge. For a delpin, one of the most powerful beings in the EliSann Forest, this should be easy.

But life in the human world is anything but easy. After a chance encounter with Draven's Prince Breyden puts VerGann's best friend in between a power-hungry king and the arranged marriage he wants for his nephew, VerGann is left scrambling to shield her from the King's wrath.
