Now I can say - one has to find the river, reach the other bank, cross the crossing. To be where you want to be. How much water was steamed down Vilnele, how many things current has carried away. Leaves, logs, discoveries, all sorts of things, and events, situations, losses and destinies. How many things the heavens saw, how much eyes have seen, the heart has felt.
Now looking at the land of my accomplishments, what can I pass on? This book is one of the myths, a legend, told by the eyes of participant.

Every Užupean is a conductor of endless ocean of knowledge and powers that exist behind him.
