It was through sin and Satan that humankind would come to know pain, suffering, deception, rebellion, death, and sorrow. Man had not known these ills until his encounter with Satan and his rebellion against God. After man's eyes were opened, he was immediately thrust into a battle between good and evil forces. Many in evangelical circles describe this ongoing battle as a war that is being waged in the Spiritual realm and is manifested in the physical realm. It is a war between angelic forces that affect you and me (Eph. 6:12).
