Since childhood I have struggled with my mental health. I still find it hard to manage it today and I am 39 years old. But writing poetry has given me a positive outlet for ex-pressing myself, which I'm not always able to do verbally or productively.Poetry has become a way of understanding and coping with emotions and situations I find hard. I want to help people who don't always have a voice or can't seem to find the right words to be able to resonate with my poems and know they are not alone.
