About the Author:

The author Harveer Sahni is the Chairman of Weldon Celloplast Limited New Delhi. He has spent a lifetime in label industry. He entered the label industry in 1978 by starting siliconizing operations and later commenced manufacture of self-adhesive labelstocks. Earlier, he worked for his family's stationary business started by his father in 1939.

He sits on the board of directors of Label Manufacturers Association of India. He is the only Indian to have served as a member of the Finat committees. In 2017 he was recipient of the first lifetime award by LMAI. In 2022 he was the first and only Indian ever to be conferred the highest global award in labels, 'The R Stanton Avery Lifetime Achievement Award.'
