Unsung Heroes is a tribute to those men and women who have served our country. Some are well known while others have faded from the history books, but each story is as important as the other. For upon their shoulders our America's freedom has been preserved. It is upon our shoulders to remember their deeds and pass to the rising generation the respect, honor and prestige these warriors have earned. We are only one generation away from losing our rich inheritance if we don't pass our stories from the cradle to the grave. From privates to generals Unsung Heroes is but a glimpse into the sacrifice and love some men and women have for this country. Follow civilian soldiers from the Revolutionary War through current day Afghanistan, as we honor ALL who have served. In the words of President Reagan, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free."
