"Hello Ann, the Fall season is rapidly approaching and I have family coming for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have been scouring the internet in search of fresh new recipes that call for apples as a main ingredient. Please tell me you can help!"

This is one of the more frequent requests I receive in the inbox of my business email, especially this time of year. Fall is one of my family's favorite times of the year, and it just so happens we have a huge apple orchard less than a mile down the road, so we have several tempting recipes we would be happy to share.

Apples are usually available throughout the year; however, they receive much more attention during the cooler months of the Fall season, primarily because there are so many warm treats and spicy drinks that can be made from a wide variety of apples, and apple liquors.

For this apple recipe book I elected to share a few cocktail recipes that are a family tradition around our house, such as Royal Apple, Apple-tini, and Apple Jack. I have also included several tasty treats that my kids and grandkids simply adore; Emily's Famous Apple Pie, French Apple Cream Pie, and Apple Flavored Pot Roast, just to name a few.
