This book provides unique insight into the Ethiopian economy and the political economy challenges it faces. With a particular focus on the rise and fall of the EPRDF, it explores the ways in which African economies can overcome historical and political setbacks to induce  economic growth and transformation. By examining the defining policies of the EPRDF and changes made by the PP, the ways in which African countries can generate growth, develop democracy, tackle internal conflict, and bolster regional and international relations are outlined.
