The book covers two aspects: first is to identify the efficient banks and those who are consistently efficient and second is to check if the entry of the foreign banks has affected the efficiency of the domestic banks. This is done by calculating the efficiency of both domestic and foreign banks operating in India. Thus, identifying the consistently efficient banks both domestic and foreign. Through this method, out of the domestic banks and foreign banks operating in India, the best and consistent performing banks have been identified.
