Gary Franklin Gillespie was a loving and dedicated husband, father of three and grandfather of seven. He began writing children's stories for the enjoyment of his grandchildren. Gary was a protector and defender by nature. Even though he was blessed with many talents, his chosen career was in law enforcement. His greatest joy was in helping others and sharing God's love with those around him. His life on earth was done in July, 2010 when his Lord called him home. This book is dedicated in loving memory to this wonderful grandpa who wrote this story about his granddaughter, Kara, and her kitten named Toes.
