TICKLE ME is a tale of wanton love, decadent seduction and dangerous liaisons meticulously played out before the eyes of the reader with the most inauspicious outcome. Alice, the heroine of this tantalizing tale, is a seemingly quiet meager shell of a woman who, at twenty-nine years of age, has never been touched (i.e., physically soiled) by a man, let alone has she ever experienced the piercing pangs of love's bittersweet kiss upon the heart. Growing up in a dysfunctional home, Alice's only obsession was in the study of Greek Mythology - a passion that helped her escape the reality of the cruel world in which she had lived, and that kept her functioning in the here and now. So early on, Alice resigned herself to the fact that Lachesis, the Fate who chose our lot in life, destined her life to be one without love -- that is until Erik, a mysterious admirer surfaces from a chance post she made on an online dating web site. From the beginning Alice is cautious of Erik and his infectious intentions towards her, but he's coming into town soon for a job interview and wants to meet her. All signs point to Alice saying "no," but it doesn't take long before Erik breaks down Alice's self-defacing walls with his knack for holding her inner innocence and unrequited feelings captive within the sonnets of love he writes in repose; sonnets so seductively written they begin to awaken the sleeping siren within her, and sonnets so tantalizing even the most seasoned woman would blush upon reading. Alice ultimately relents. Throwing caution to the wind, Alice and Erik begin to engage in the most intimate of intimate emails. Erik's passionate poems and erotic love stories awaken her most secret womanly desires. It's doesn't take long before Alice finds herself falling madly in love with Erik and with the possibility that he could be her one true love-her betrothed, her soul mate; a gift from the Gods. But alas, in spite of all this unbridled passion and ye
