Mr Lucas - A valuable necklace, stolen in Copenhagen. is believed to be in the hands of a courier on a train from London to Carlisle. Among the many passengers is toy trader Mr Lucas, who might not be all he seems, but when the train crashes the search for the courier and the necklace is thrown into even greater confusion. The Caspary Affair - A musical comedy actress leaves the stage after her marriage, and later forms a disastrous friendship with a famous pianist.
