Aprašymas
An AI has stolen mystery - only Art can get it back
Perfect for fans of speculative fiction where artificial intelligence, mysticism and the unstable nature of reality collide.
Arthur's father stupidly imagines it biologically impossible for any of his children to be anything but scientists. After all, Arthur's elder brother is an astronaut.
But the signs are all around him: the constant sketching, the Bach and Beethoven, the array of fine art posters in Arthur's bedroom. No, it's time to face reality: his second son is an artist! And to rub salt in the wound, his friends call him Art.
Art is on the run. He's caused an unfortunate explosion in the chemistry labs, and security is after him. So when Majesty offers him a way out, he doesn't hesitate. The slip tonic tastes of nothing in particular, but the effect is immediate, and he finds himself spatially close by, but in a different world entirely.
A world split from top to bottom: the left hemisphere houses the scientists, and the right, the artists. But there's an astronaut-shaped hole hanging over the Divide, leaking material from the world next door, and Art has been chosen to repair it.
Hunted, confused, and very far from home, Art''s only hope may lie with a strange wand stolen
from a mystic and reborn as an artificial intelligence. But this is no obedient machine and has plans of its own.
If Art is to make it home, he must recover the one thing no machine was ever meant to have.
Mystery itself
