Thinking with Lauren Berlant (el. knyga) (skaityta knyga) | knygos.lt

Aprašymas

Lauren Berlant transformed how we think about attachment, emotion, sexuality, and ordinary life. Their interventions have given scholars across disciplines new language for understanding why people stay bound to worlds that diminish them, and what politics looks like when understood through the body and the emergent present. Thinking with Lauren Berlant is the first edited collection to reflect on Berlant's oeuvre since their death in 2021. Organized around key themes in Berlant's critical lexicon, the contributions trace these themes as living practice for personal, political, and intellectual lives of scholars, artists, and humans. This remarkable collection will resonate with scholars across feminist and queer studies, affect theory, and cultural criticism: anyone invested in what thinking with others makes possible.
