Aprašymas

Welcome to the Whisker Hostel, where the guests have whiskers, the rules are optional, and the man who pays the bills is never really in charge.

Every cat in these pages is real. They live in Mark Krueger's house, they answer to their real names (when they feel like it), and they have spent years quietly running the place. Their adventures, on the other hand, are gloriously made up, inspired by real events that got out of hand.

In seven stories, a household of cats survives a pharmaceutical mix-up, a night of stolen treats, a therapy session nobody asked for, a suspicious past that may or may not involve the KGB, and a rodeo nobody ordered. It begins with Before the Mayhem, the true story of how the Whisker Hostel came to be.

Told in a deadpan, family-friendly style in the tradition of Patrick McManus, The Whisker Hostel: Collected Stories gathers the complete series into one hardcover edition for anyone who has ever shared a home with a cat and lost the argument.
