In addition to his colleagues at Nutmeg, Frank is joined in his efforts by Professor Eve Karam, a former Sister of Mercy. An expert on the Abrahamic religions and the varieties of Islamic thought and practice, Professor Karam challenges Frank intellectually, emotionally, and intimately. As always, his Schutzhund trained German Shepherd, Ma Hergen's Boston Noir, is at Frank's side.
