"Love Conquers All" I pray as you read this book that you will smile, laugh, cry, smile, and laugh again. Those were all of my emotions as I was writing this book. This was the absolute hardest thing I have ever done. I'm a very private person. I know by sharing our story, it will help someone else who is going through this same situation. You can insert your particular life challenges and find inspiration so you know that you too can overcome anything. I want that couple to know that they can make it - even as they're going through rough times. I want them to know that they have to make memories that are so good that when times are bad they can reflect back on those good memories. Although this book speaks to the tragedy of being diagnosed and living with a mental illness, it also speaks to the love that held our family together through it all. Our love outweighed all of our troubles, and we are still dealing with the illness one day at a time - together. During the good times, we never focus on the illness. We spend that time loving and enjoying one another, making those great memories that keep us strong when we must deal with the illness. My husband and I are more in love today than we were when we first got married. He is my true soul mate and I am his true soulmate. Our two sons love and respect their father - always have and always will. God gave us this life and the strength to conquer all that has come our way as we continue to love and be in love with one another.
