Aprašymas
The Town I Crow About is a collection of stories that 93-year-old Raymond Hills told his daughter Donna as he looked back on his life growing up in East Millstone, New Jersey, a small, industrial town with a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places.
His stories start as a young boy in the 1940s and cover his adventures about town with the Boy Scouts, a brief history of how East Millstone has evolved over the years, his young adulthood in the Navy, and later adulthood starting a family. Historical photographs with captions round out the memories and history of the place.
Upon reflection, Raymond is forever grateful for a great childhood that allowed him to explore, for the opportunities that came his way, for his family, and for the town he called home for almost a century-the town he crows about.
