Seven years have passed since the fateful events on Xedalda, and the Dragon Order members are getting used to their lives on Cydalia. Esmeril has discovered that 13 new magical powers have been unlocked within them, and he sets out to teach them to the Dragon Order members in initiation rites which, should they pass, will allow them to become the first Philosopher-Sages of Cydalia. Zilkeon, still perplexed by the mystery of his missing parents, is visited by a strange character named Deucalion: an immortal alchemist in possession of an Elixir of Immortality, who is staving off his death whereupon he will be enslaved to a spirit. However, Deucalion's Elixir of Immortality has been stolen by the evil Queen Serephone and her husband King Typhoneus, who claim to be Zilkeon's aunt and uncle and the righftul heirs to the throne promised to Zilkeon's parents. Serephone and Typhoneus send Zilkeon and Deucalion on journeys to find seven treasures and seven legendary creatures in order to gain the throne and the Elixir of Immortality. Meanwhile, Sophia is on a planet at the center of the galaxy attempting to gain Azeron entrance into the illustrious Galactic Federation of Light where she must pass seven trials. But everything is not as it seems, and death and danger lurk around every corner.
