In this stunning fairy tale picture book, the daughter of the Sunset Catcher helps teach welcome lessons about sharing life's pleasures and moving in new directions.

Every night, as the sun begins to set, the Sunset Catcher collects the sky's vibrant colors in a bottle, taking care not to let a single wisp of lavender or magenta escape. Once the bottle is filled with delicate swirls of rose and melon, or rich streaks of scarlet and tangerine, it goes to the emperor, the only one allowed to enjoy the beautiful colors. Luli, the Sunset Catcher's daughter, wonders why the emperor does not want the colors to spread across the sky, where everyone could enjoy them. "This is the way it has always been," the emperor tells her. But Luli is not convinced.
