Jill toils away in obscurity as a grocery store clerk in a small town in western Virginia. It's not a glamour job but Jill's afraid to leave it because of a dream, a dream that seems more real than life itself. After a particularly difficult day, Jill makes a wish to the gods, hoping that the Universe will provide. Having no prior Princess training, Tessa must learn not only royal protocol and magic; she must also learn how to use a bow, a sword, and strategy as she and companions embark on a quest to protect Perithia from the forces of evil.
