The exercises contained in this book are arranged in a progressive order: the first lesson is written in the plainest and easiest form of Spanish construction, while the last has something of the high and difficult style of our classical authors. Thus this small book may be considered as an appropriate introduction to any of those larger volumes now admitted as Readers and Translators.......... Many of the earliest books, particularly those dating back to the 1900's and before, are now extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
