Poetry of the Tang period fusing aesthetics, history and philosophy - at once evocative of ancient Chinese culture and deeply relevant to contemporary concepts of beauty and nature, where less written reveals more. Rare is the Chinese person, today or in history, who cannot recite lines from Tang poems and whose life has not been influenced by the words of great poets, such as; Wang Wei, Li Bai, or Tu Fu.
