The Processmatic Cycle follows five professionals through their online discussions about improving business process management. The discussions begin by identifying basic problems with traditional business process management, and the basic needs to resolve those problems. The discussions evolve to development of a Processmatic Cycle, with supporting laws and rules, for building a process resource to support an organization's business activities. The Processmatic Cycle emphasizes the formal management of an organization's business processes as a critical resource. The book is the second in a series of speculative business fiction books. Like The Datamatic Cycle, the book is based on existing business fact, and presents scenarios that are speculative business fiction today, but will ultimately become established business fact.
