I like to serve my favourite Riesling and a freshly sliced loaf of baguette with cheese fondue. The wine adds a fruity taste to the savoury cheese and you will notice throughout this cookbook, the wine can sometimes be added to the fondue itself. If Riesling is not your cup of tea, then a good Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio will work well. The flavours of the cheeses mix well with fruit and vegetables or bread and crackers.
