York, 1963.

Graham Beynon is known throughout York as a fixer, someone who can get the goods: medicines, food--everything has become a luxury following the Windscale event. York isn't the place it once was: now ruled by thugs, with refugees ousted beyond the city walls, and the shadow of the Quarantine Zone looming.

When one of Graham's favourite informants, Bobbie, goes missing, he sets out to find her. The trail leads into York's deepest, darkest recesses, with BARD bots patrolling the Shambles and the sewers below. Graham must find allies in an underworld of factions to rescue Bobbie and uncover the secrets operating in the shadows.
