A story inspired by true events. Two days after the September 11, 2001, attack on the New York City Trade Center, three thousand miles away in Beverly Hills, California, a handsome twenty-six-year old Mexican-American attorney, Marc Bravo, was at work for only a few minutes when his phone rang. The call was from Dr. Sam Greenberg, an old family friend who explained why he needed Marc to fly to Mexico City immediately. It seems his beloved parents had mysteriously vanished. Marc's father was a plastic surgeon and his mother, a former registered nurse, did volunteer work for the charitable group Doctors Without Borders. Sam was the director and thought the Bravos might have been kidnapped for ransom money by the Mexican Mafia. Fearing his folks were in jeopardy, Marc agrees to take a red eye flight to Mexico City that night. He gets his brother, a PhD candidate in archaeology, and his best friend to join him. All three are graduates of the California National Guard, trained in counterintelligence and guerrilla warfare.
It turns out the kidnapper is a notorious Sheikh, a key Osama Bin Laden Al-Qaeda operative hiding out in Mexico. He always beheads captives, especially Christians. As Marc unravels the mystery to rescue his folks he finds out horrifying things about radical Islam and their imminent Koran End Days battle to end all battles.
