Pirates, romance, wilderness survival and team work lace this novel with barbed arrows of mystery, love, hate and death. The rewards of perseverance and commitment, as well as the challenge of building a future in early Oregon, are huge. At the same time, evil raises its ugly head, and only the 'hangman's Noose', along with their finely honed frontier fighting skills, can save them!
