Directly on the heels of the inspiring and holiday-filled month of Tishrei,
Cheshvan is a month that is quiet and devoid of holidays. In the month of
Cheshvan we use the stored up energies of the previous months
to self-generate our inspiration and creativity and provide us with the
strength to rise up after a fall.
In Cheshvan we are entering into a stormier, wetter and
colder season. It is a month of transition.
The mental, emotional and spiritual objective of this month is to weather
the transitions, learn to self-generate and stand tall.
And if we do fall, we use the quality of this month
to get back up and do so with more conviction,
strength, wisdom and clarity.
