This short booklet is regarding the meanings of the legislated supplications, chosen from the Prophetic Hadeeth, so that the one who uses these supplications can know what their tongue is saying, causing that to polish their heart and soul, since there is nothing more beneficial to the slave or more likely to save them from the punishment of Allaah the Exalted than the remembrance of Allaah the Exalted. It is not good for the one supplicating to be heedless regarding what they are saying, because supplication and remembrance have been legislated in order to do away with heedlessness; they are legislated in order to give life to the heart.
